Terms and Conditions for Fundraising Gifts

 

The Incentive Promotion is run by Cancer Council Victoria (ABN 61 426 486 715 and CAN 608 530 972), trading as Cancer Council Victoria (‘Promoter’) of 615 St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC 3004.

The Walking Stars promotion encourages people to register and fundraise for Walking Stars in 2017.

Information on how to enter and the details of the incentive promotion form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter will not exchange incentives for monetary payment.

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

Entry is only open to all Walking Stars (Melbourne Event) participants who have achieved one or more of the qualifying criteria’s.

Individual participants can only go into the draw once for each incentive listed.

Incentives apply to individuals only – team fundraising totals are not eligible for these incentives.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age ). In addition, the Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, age and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.

Walking Stars participants who raise $300 or more before 5pm on 7 August, 2017 are eligible for a free Walking Stars t-shirt. The free t-shirts will be packed with the event kit, which will be available for collection on Thursday 30 November and Friday 1 December between 9am and 5pm or early on event night. Winners will be announced on the Walking Stars Facebook Page, 22 November, 2017.

Walking Stars participants who raise $500 or more by 5pm on 20th November, 2017 will be entered into the draw for a chance to win one of four GoodLife Gym six month memberships. The winners will be randomly drawn on 21 November, 2017 and notified by email or phone within one working day of the draw. Memberships will be emailed to the winners within two days drawing the prize. Winners will be announced on the Walking Stars Facebook Page, 22 November, 2017.

Walking Stars participants who raise $700 or more by 5pm on 20 November, 2017, will receive a Coles Myer Gift Voucher valued at $50. Vouchers will be sent by mail to eligible participants the week commencing 27 November 2017. Winners will be announced on the Walking Stars Facebook Page, 22 November, 2017.

Walking Stars participants who raise $1,000 or more by 5pm 20 November, 2017 will receive a free car park on the event night, Saturday 2 December, 2017 and will be entered into the draw for a chance to win one of the following prizes; Stamford Plaza Hotel accommodation in the Melbourne CBD, a dinner voucher at Mamasita valued at $200, or Village Gold Class tickets for two. The winners will be randomly drawn on 21 November, 2017 and notified by email or phone within one working day of the draw. Winners will be announced on the Walking Stars Facebook Page on 22 November, 2017.
